Anna khan is one of those bloggers that puts real hard work in her content and takes it seriously enough to warrant any fame that she has achieved in her life. Tell us something interesting about you that nobody knows?

I have trained for martial arts for years so it’s safe to say that I can defend myself when the time comes. I am also an artist, from still life paintings to abstract ones; I can paint really well. And another thing that nobody knows about me is that I am truly passionate about dancing. I simply love it.

What major challenges did you face when you launched your own clothing band?

As we all know in Pakistan’s fashion industry, the competition is at its peak and to break in at that time and make a name for your own brand can get rather challenging but I strongly believe that if you have talent and quality work then nothing can stand in your way.

 What do you love the most about blogging?

Blogging for me is like my ultimate passion. I don’t take it as a job or an inconvenient task that i just have to get done with. It keeps me connected with everything I love from fashion to fitness, to makeup and food, you name it. And what job is better than the one which truly defines who you are?

What do you find the most frustrating aspect of blogging?

Time management is a big issue. Mainly since my blog is dedicated to various different topics as I mentioned earlier; Makeup, food, fitness and fashion and it can get difficult to manage all that with my personal life. To find a correct balance is crucial, but I am working on that and I find it do-able.

Who takes the majority of your photos?

Oh my husband does and it’s mainly because he is great with the camera, has an eye for the most suitable colors and backgrounds and last but never the least he knows my best angles hehe.

How would you describe your blogging style?

As a fashion student, makeup geek, fitness freak and food lover, I love to go into the minute details of everything. I try to stay on top of things and conduct thorough research to maintain a set standard for my blog. I want it to stand out from the rest in terms of both quality content and aesthetics.

Who was your first style icon and why?

The Brazilian blogger Camila Coehlo. She is gorgeous, her makeup and fashion sense is always on point and I love how much effort she puts into her blog.

What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?

To be honest all it takes is good quality content and people want to follow you. I work hard to make my content superior in terms of newer things that I bring out there which would be relevant to my audience. From the clothes I wear to the skincare or makeup products I recommend, it’s all original.

 What was your greatest failure and what did you learn from that?

Due to some family restrictions i was unable to make it to a fashion show in India in 2006 where my designs were to be showcased. It broke my heart since I really wanted to go. Nevertheless it was still a great achievement for me.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love spending time with my friends and family since my busy blogging schedule leaves me little time, I value the spare time I get with my loved ones. Apart from that I love spending time at the gym. It truly refreshing.

Can you name some of your favorite bloggers and explain why they are your favorites?

Karen Wazen Bakhazi is my favorite! Her adorable life in Dubai with her family and friends are all showcased on her blog and her passions resonate with mine.
