Atif Aslam recently came under the public backlash in a concert in New York. Atif Aslam was invited to Sing in Pakistan Day parade on the 7^th of August in New York. Everything was going great and the crowd was cheering till Atif sung a Bollywood song. The crowd got extremely disappointed and jeered at him for that and some even left the concert. Why such a reaction? The crowd was all pumped up with patriotism and Pakistan Day celebrations and had expected Atif Aslam to sing national songs. When he chose to sing a Bollywood number the audience didn’t react as expected.

Atif in his defense didn’t think it through. He only sung one of his songs and failed to realize that it being used in a Bollywood movie would yield such a reaction from the public.
