The government of Pakistan had banned all indian movies from 2 days prior to Eid ul fitar to a week after. This bold move was taken to protect the Pakistani cinema industry and various upcoming Pakistani movies around Eid time.
The notice has been passed that prevents all foreign film buyers to not purchase and showcase any Indian movie in the Pakistani cinema’s. Here is the notice issued.
Pakistani movies such as mahira khan and shehryaar munawars 7 din mohobbat in, sanam and noori’s jackout and wajood are all to be released this Eid.
These movies were to be pitted against Salman khan and Jacqueline’s Race 3, ranbhir kapoors Sanju and Sonam kapoor and kareena kapoors veere di wedding. All these movies had an incredible star cast are were much awaited movies even with the Pakistani audience.
Not only this but hollywood movies such as the super it sequel of Jurassic world, Fallen Kingdom and the incredibles have been banned too long these dates to further keep audience hooked towards local films alone.
