Well, Team Page3 interviewed this stylish influencer and got some interesting replies!

Tell us something interesting about yourself that nobody knows?

I am incapable of boredom. Even when i am completely idle and have nothing to do, I’m able to find something to keep me occupied mentally, even if I’m entirely still.

How would you say is blogging in Canada, being a Pakistani different or challenging or fun?

I think blogging is fun everywhere you go; you just have to know your thing. If you do your thing right, you are loved everywhere. I have a diverse audience and people are equally supportive whether they are from Pakistan, Canada or any other country around the globe.

What do you love the most about blogging?

In my experience I have observed that the blogging community is extremely supportive of one another. The mindset is to lift each other up, rather than of cut throat competition or rivalries. Because blogging is still a relatively new career choice, it seems like most successful bloggers are more than willing to share their experiences and advice—of which I’ve been so appreciative! Whether it’s sharing someone else’s content, leaving comments on other blogs, collaborating on guest posts, or giving advice, there’s a lot of “building others up” going on constantly in the blogging community. It rocks!

How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up
and running?

Positive feedback from people keeps me motivated. It really feels amazing and rewarding when you get an email from someone saying that your posts are in some way impactful in their lives or have entertained them.

What do you find the most frustrating aspect of blogging?

I think the two most frustrating aspects of blogging are determining your audience, their likes and dislikes and the frequency with which you need to engage them.

Who takes the majority of your photos?

You won’t believe but my husband takes all my photos.

How would you describe your blogging style?

I have a personal blog on Instagram and I post about almost everything I like, may it be related to fashion, beauty, travelling or food. So rather than following a specific style, I just try to be myself and so far, it’s working for me. I find that people are connected to others by their personalities, so I post content that is engaging and visually pleasing.

Who was your first style icon and why?

Oh! I love Kareena Kapoor Khan. I have grown up watching her and her trend-setting fashion. Her style sense makes her a true diva.

what do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?

I think I managed to identify the right time for posting and the right hashtags for my posts, and so my followers are increasing every minute with every post.

What was your greatest failure or set back and what did you learn from that?

To me, failure is about not meeting expectations—others’ as well as my own. I have stopped expecting and I just go with the flow now, which is why I think I’m in a way better place today.

what do you do in your spare time?

I spend time with my friends and family.

Can you name some of your favorite bloggers and explain why they are your favorites?

My all-time favorite is Jamie Chua, a super glamorous Singapore socialite. She has the most amazing content on her page and followers get to have a glimpse of her picture-perfect life, from the branded goods she owns to her jet setting lifestyle. She is the queen of Instagram!
