He is Lead Singer of Raeth Band, and the youngest Sufi Pop Rock Band signed by Universal Records in Asia. Here is his exclusive interview for Page 3 Magazine.
What is music to you?
Music is my high. It makes me alive and makes me fly!
What drew you?
Singing has always been my passion. I have learnt a lot from Safia Baig. This is how I am here!
Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?
We always emphasize on love and the meaning of love which is to live and let people live.
What is your favorite part about your work?
Jamming, meeting new musicians and also performing for different audiences in different cities and countries.
What is the least favorite about your work? Why?
Early morning flights and long distances.
Have you ever dealt with anxiety before your performance?
Nope, I have never felt any sort of anxiety but I was a bit nervous before my first Bollywood track Lamha that I sung for the movie Zanjeer.
What is your favorite performance venue?
My favorite performance venue is Kolkata and Karachi
Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans?
Social Media has made our lives quite easy. I am very active on social media and that is how I get to connect with my fans through YouTube channels and at times by going live.
Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?
What is the one message you would give to your fans?
I have always followed my heart that is what has helped me towards achieving my goals. So my advice would be that be true to yourself and follow your heart.
What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
I would have been a Cricketer

Tum Meri Ho.

Which of your song is most special and why?
Bhulado is the most special song for me as it gave me recognition.
One thing that your fans do not know about you?
I don’t know! But I believe all my fans know one thing or the other about me. Nothing is hidden.
