Two sisters that have set the Instagram world on fire with their pragmatic yet contemporary fashion sense suitable for women from all walks of life. Umara and Kashaf both share a strong sisterhood. They are 4 years apart but share similar likes and dislikes which is what helps them run their blog smoothly together with one mind. Umara recently graduated in Politics and International relations while Kashaf is in 2nd year pre medical. They started their blog two years ago and have gotten an immensely positive response from their fans and followers. They have become young fashion influencers in no time and have started representing various renowned fashion brands while integrating their own unique style sense into their everyday clothing. Tell us something interesting about your-self that nobody knows?
We love pet birds. We have 20 different kinds of pet birds at home.

How would you say blogging in Pakistan is different, is it challenging or fun?
In terms of opportunities, yes, blogging to some extent is different in Pakistan than USA and UK.
Blogging is fun when it’s about dressing up and clicking photographs and it gets challenging when you have to spend hours and days in content creation.

What do you love the most about blogging?
We love the idea that our blog connects us to our followers who genuinely love and support us.

How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
The unconditional and priceless love and support we get every day from our followers is all we need to feel motivated.

What do you find the most frustrating aspect of blogging?
When people assume that we are dressed up all the time in flared pants and fancy tops at home or while heading out even if we just have to get grocery, the blogger life is different from our everyday lives. That distinction is difficult for some people to grasp

Who takes the majority of your photos?

Our elder brother used to take our photos before he went abroad for studies and business. Now we work with different photographers depending on the type of look we’re shooting for.

How would you describe your blogging style?
It’s all about carrying on a tradition of classic elegance that at times feels completely lost in today’s world.

Who was your first style icon and why?
It is Gigi Hadid, because of her amazing fashion sense. Everyone knows how perfectly she can flaunt even a plain white t shirt. She is a true fashion diva

What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?
We have always tried to be more professional and more authentic. You can never build up true relationships with your followers if you pretend to be something you’re not.

What was your greatest failure or set back and what did you learn from that?
Learning is a life time process and we don’t believe it should be just restricted to mistakes or failure only. We try to learn and gain experience from every possible situation. We haven’t encountered any big failure yet, Alhamdulillah.
