Tejasswi Prakash, a TV celebrity, defeated actor-model Pratik Sehajpal to win season 15 of the reality show “Bigg Boss.”Ms Prakash, who is most known for her role in “Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur,” won the Bigg Boss trophy and a monetary award of Rs 40 lac. The show’s host, celebrity Salman Khan, declared the winner.
The top five candidates were Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty, and Nishant Bhat in the finale show, which broadcast on ColorsTV on Sunday.
Tejasswi was also revealed as the new face of the hit supernatural series Naagin, in addition to winning the prize.
The top five finalists were each given a bag valued ten lakh rupees. Nishant Bhat chose to leave the show with the cash prize and the race to the winner’s trophy. Salman Khan, the Bigg Boss host, praised Nishant and stated he made the right decision to go away with ten lakhs, implying that he did not garner enough votes to win the programme.
Salman had invited the finalists’ families to perform a dance on the stage during the show. They were all grooving to Garmi’s beat.
Tejasswi Prakash entered the show as a title favourite because to her fame as a television personality. The 28-year-old actress was known for her competitive and tenacious nature. Ms Prakash fell in love with Mr Kundra during the course of the show, and the duo became a fan favourite. Deepika Padukone, along with co-stars Ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa, promoted her next film “Gehraiyaan” at the grand finale. Former Bigg Boss winners Gauahar Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Gautam Gulati, Rubina Dilaik, and Shweta Tiwari were among those who attended the finale. Shehnaaz Gill, a finalist on “Bigg Boss” 13, paid tribute to her late boyfriend Sidharth Shukla, the season’s winner, among the highlights of the finale. Last year, Sidharth Shukla passed away.
